Hello! I’m a mental health therapist with a strong foundation in social work. I graduated with my Masters in Social Work in May 2020, from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. I spent time after graduation working alongside children in the foster care system, who ultimately inspired me to pursue a career in therapy.
As a mental health therapist, my mission is to help you thrive, not just survive! I am committed to empowering individuals on their journey to wellness. With a warm, approachable style, I create a supportive environment where you can freely express your thoughts and emotions.
I specialize in anxiety and depression management, mindfulness and acceptance-based therapy, grief and loss counseling, trauma-informed care, LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy, cultural and diversity-informed therapy, and faith-based therapy upon request. I work with both children and adults, and I have a soft spot for working with teenagers.
Outside of work, I enjoy yoga, fitness, reading, nature hikes, traveling, exploring new things, and spending time with my family. I geek out on true crime documentaries and podcasts, and I love to unwind by binge-watching a good tv show.
Thank you so much for your interest in having me as your therapist! I understand how hard it can be in finding a therapist that aligns with your values and goals, and I’m hoping that together we can work towards your goals and build a brighter future!
